What is Luma?
Luma is a mobile AI companion that combines conversation, organization, planning, learning tools, and guided self-development in one app.
What can people use Luma for?
People use Luma to chat with AI, organize notes and events, build plans, study, prepare for interviews, reflect, learn languages, and manage routines or reminders.
Core features
Answers about the main areas of the app, including chat, organization, learning, offline usage, and Growth Hub.
What is Growth Hub?
Growth Hub is Luma's structured workspace area for self-development. It includes interview prep, study prep, review flows, reflections, AI starter packs, quizzes, and content that helps users move from ideas to organized next steps.
Is Growth Hub stored only on the device?
Local work can stay on the device by default, but some Growth Hub cloud-sync flows are optional and may require Pro depending on the workspace and action the user selects.
Can Luma help with planning and organization?
Yes. Luma includes organizer tools for notes and events, plus planner flows for structured tasks, progress tracking, and clearer next steps.
Does Luma support language learning?
Yes. Luma supports personal dictionaries, vocabulary capture, and flexible practice flows instead of a rigid one-size-fits-all course.
Can plans and dictionaries be shared with other people?
Yes. Luma supports shared plans and dictionaries. Editors can propose changes, while the owner decides which updates to accept before the shared version changes.
Does offline mode support sync or shared features?
No. Offline mode is designed for local device use after the offline model is downloaded. Offline chats stay separate from online chats and do not support cloud sync, sharing, or custom cloud-backed features.
Pro, subscriptions, and rewards
What users need to know about Google Play, rewards, and virtual items.
How is Pro managed?
Pro is managed through Google Play. Users can review or manage their subscription through the management action inside the app and in their Google Play settings.
Why can Pro status take a moment to update?
Luma refreshes Pro state automatically during app launch, resume, successful purchase flows, and important subscription changes. If Google Play is still processing the status, updates may take a short moment.
What are Luma Coins used for?
Luma Coins are used for in-app reward-based purchases and selected virtual items or flows. They are part of the app experience and do not represent cash or stored monetary value.
Does Luma use rewarded ads?
Yes, optional rewarded ads may be available for users who want to receive in-app rewards. Reward verification is protected by backend checks and anti-abuse logic before credits are applied.
How can someone support the Luma project?
Users can support Luma by purchasing Pro through the app and Google Play, or by sending a voluntary crypto donation.
Supported donation addresses:
Important: Crypto support is treated as a voluntary donation and does not automatically activate Pro, subscriptions, or any in-app digital entitlement in Google Play builds.
Privacy and support
How data is handled, where to get help, and how users can request deletion.
Does Luma send data to third-party providers?
Yes. Luma uses services such as Firebase, Google Cloud, Google Play, and Google AdMob where needed to run the app, verify subscriptions, support optional rewarded ads, and provide AI features. More detail is available in the Privacy Policy.
What happens if a user watches a rewarded ad?
Google AdMob and related Google systems may process ad-request, diagnostic, and device-related information according to their policies. Luma also stores reward-verification metadata needed to prevent fraud, confirm the reward callback, and apply the correct reward.
How can a user delete an account?
Account deletion is available inside the app through Settings and is also documented on the Account Deletion page. If the app is not accessible, the user can request deletion by email.
Where should support questions be sent?
